NTSE 2020-21 Exam Dates Announced

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage 1, 2020-21 will be conducted in December 2020 and the state 2 examination will be conducted in June 2021. The conducting body of NTSE is The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and has announced the NTSE 2020 exam schedule.

• The first stage of NTSE, at state level, will be conducted on December 12 and December 13, 2020.
• The second phase of exam will be held on June 13, 2021. By the respective state education boards the first phase of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2020) will be held while at the national level the second phase will be conducted by the NCERT.
• Candidates being shortlisted in the state level of NTSE 2020-21 will be eligible to appear for second phase of national level examination June 2021. Students studying class 10 from recognised schools are eligible to appear for NTSE 2020-21.

NTSE exam pattern comprises of two papers for each stage, the first paper will be Mental Ability Test (MAT) comprising 100 questions for 100 marks. The second paper, Scholastic Ability Test (SAT), will be for 100 marks for a total of 100 questions. The duration of time for each paper is 120 minutes and in stage 2 there will be no negative marking.

Students to take application form the board has asked them to contact the Liaison officers of their states. Also, the duly filled form must be signed by the principal of the school. Before the last date the application form has to be submitted. Different states of the country will have different last dates scheduled it is a notification to students that do confirm the Liaison Officer of your state.

• For the stage 1 exam last date for the submission of application forms are yet to announced by the states while the exams in Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be held on December 12, 2020. Also, the exams in the remaining States, Union Territories will be conducted on December 13, 2020.
• Similarly, stage 2 examination in all state, UTS will be held on June 13, 2021.
