NIT Jamshedpur will conduct NIMCET, a national-level entrance exam for NIT across India. The scores of NIMCET 2022 is evaluated to get admissions for BCA and MCA course in the top colleges of the country. The registration for NIMCET 2022 was open from 4 April 2022 till 4 May 2022. According to the official authorities, the NIMCET 2022 correction window of application forms will be released soon for the applicants to make any changes to the submitted application form NIMCET 2022. Here the candidates can make the changes in the application form only once using the registered email ID. The candidates will not be given any access to make the changes in the application form from the unregistered email ID.  Candidates can look for the prospectus of the exam and the relevant updates and notifications from the official website of NIMCET.

As the registrations have been closed for NIMCET, the candidates must look for the next updates regarding the entrance exams. The exam date for NIMCET 2022 is on 20 June 2022, and according to the website, the NIMCET 2022 admit card will be released on 6 June and is available till 19 June 2022.

The eligibility of NIMCET 2022 is that the candidates must be Indian citizens, the candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Tech, B.E., BIT, B.Voc, BBA or BCA degree with a min of 60% aggregate or with 6.5 CGPA. The applicants must have mathematics or statistics as mandatory subjects in their qualifying exam. Otherwise, the candidates who have completed their academics in distance education can apply for NIMCET. The candidates need to know about the NIMCET 2022 Exam pattern.  

• The NIMCET 2022 mode of exam is the CBT method.
• There is a total of 120 questions in MCQ format.
• The NIMCET 2022 medium of exam is only in the English language.
• They are awarded 4 marks for every right answer and -1 for wrong answers as negative marking.

Once the exam is concluded, the eligible candidates will be processed for the further rounds. The results of NIMCET 2022 will be declared on 5th July 2022. After the results are out, the candidates will be listed based on their NIMCET 2022 cut-off scores.

To get better results in the NIMCET 2022, the candidates can follow some of the tips:

• Understanding the exam pattern.
• Analyzing the syllabus and making easy notes.
• Take up mock tests and refer to the previous year's question papers.
• Constant revision before the exam dates.

Later the candidates with eligible scores will be followed to the NIMCET 2022 counseling rounds. The counseling process will take place in three rounds. The candidate will be evaluated on their academics, NIMCET scores, and their choice of the institute, and the NIMCET 2022 seat allotment will be given to the eligible candidates by August 2022.
