The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) will start its PG admission process for the academic year 2025 – 26 through CUET PG 2025. All candidates who wish to apply for CUTN PG courses have to appear for the CUET PG entrance exam. The CUTN PG application form 2025 is expected to be released in June 2025. The last day to apply is expected to be in mid-July 2025. Applicants can choose from a wide range of PG programs offered across 13 schools and 28 departments at CUTN. Admission will be based entirely on CUET PG scores.

Central University of Tamil Nadu Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying for PG admission at the Central University of Tamil Nadu via the CUET PG 2025 exam, candidates are advised to check the list of available postgraduate courses and their eligibility criteria. Understanding the eligibility criteria is important to ensure a smooth admission process.

  • MA – Economics: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with economics, maths or statistics as a mandatory subject. They must secure a minimum of 55% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Mcom: Candidates must hold a BCom degree from a recognised university. General candidates must have at least 55% marks.
  • MBA: Candidates must have a graduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least two years of work experience.
  • MSW: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks.
  • LLM : Candidates must hold an LLB or equivalent law degree with at least 55% aggregate marks across all three or five years of study.
  • MSc: Candidates must have graduated with a biological or biomedical sciences degree. The minimum required marks are 60% for the general category.
  • MA: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 55% marks and have studied English as a major or one of the major subjects.
  • M.Lib.I.Sc: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • PG Diploma: Candidates must have a degree in Bachelor's in Chemistry or related subject. A minimum of 55% marks is required.

 

CUET PG 2025 Application Process for CUTN

The Central University of Tamil Nadu will be accepting PG admissions for the academic session 2025 –26 through the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduates. NTA conducts this exam, and it is a gateway to PG programs offered across CUTNs' various colleges and departments. The application process will start in June 2025. Candidates will have 10 to 15 days to complete the application process. Follow the steps outlined below to apply for CUET PG 2025 admission into CUTN successfully:

  • Go to the official CUTN admission portal.
  • Click on the link for the CUET PG 2025 application form.

Step 2: Register online

  • Use a valid email ID & mobile number to register.
  • Create login credentials and keep them safe for future access.

Step 3: Fill out the application form

  • Login and fill out the application form with details, such as personal, contact, academic qualifications, and program preferred.

Step 4: Upload the required documents

Candidates must ensure they have scanned documents in the specified format.
