National Institute of Fashion Technology has declared the official notification regarding the cancellation of the situation test which was scheduled to be conducted earlier and now NIFT grant admissions for the candidates based on the performance in written test that is NIFT 2020 entrance examination which was conducted on 19th January 2020 and it has also stated that it will consider the written test score for the declaring of final result and for the finalizing the merit list.
National Institute of Fashion Technology organizes NIFT entrance exam will be conducted for the candidates in order to grant admission into Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses in the domain of fashion designing at different branches of NIFT institutes which is located all over India
Earlier, Candidates have qualified in the NIFT Entrance Examination (written test), such candidates were supposed to appear for situation test but due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, examination authority have decided to cancel the situation test and grant admission for bachelor’s degree B. des program by considering only written test score. Initially result declaration was scheduled on 13th March 2020 by considering situation test score. But now the result and merit list will be declared on 25th June 2020 at the official website of NIFT (nift.ac.in)
Candidates who have qualified in NIFT 2020 entrance exam for Master of Fashion Technology, Master of Fashion Management, Master of Design must appear for online interview session which will be held on 26th June 2020.In order to appear for interview, at first qualified candidates need to register themselves with in 19th June 2020 to 21st June 2020 via online mode
