What After NEET Cutoff 2024

The NEET Counselling 2024 is expected to start in July 2024. Once the NEET UG 2024 Result, including the All India Rank (AIR) and the minimum qualifying NEET cutoff, is announced, the counseling process will kick off. This process will cover both the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the remaining 85% State Quota seats. Before each round of counseling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the number of seats available.

A national NEET 2024 merit list will be prepared based on the AIR of students, and this list will be sent to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for the 15% AIQ counseling. MCC will handle the centralized counseling for the 15% All India Quota in four rounds.

The authorities will create a list based on NEET 2024 marks and rank for 85% of state quota seats. After each round of NEET Counselling, the results will be announced in the form of a NEET Seat Allotment list. Students who receive seats must then report to their respective institutes and complete the admission process.
