• Self-sponsored candidates: The candidates come to IMI Kolkata as recent graduates or as those who left their employment after working for a while. They receive placement assistance from the Institute's placement unit based on their best efforts.
• Company-sponsored candidates: Applications from candidates sponsored by companies are accepted at IMI Kolkata. These applicants will likewise be evaluated in accordance with the selection procedure.
