IISER has revised the registration dates for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025. As per the updated schedule, the IISER Entrance Exam 2025 application form will be available from 10 March. Initially, it was scheduled to be released on 5 March 2025. The IAT 2025 exam is the gateway for securing admission to the integrated BS-MS, BS, B Tech or M-Tech degrees offered by 7 IISERs, including IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras.
Last date to apply for IISER Entrance Exam 2025 is scheduled for 15 April. This has given potential applicants more time in which to finalize their applications. The authority has also notified the IISER Exam Date 2025. It is scheduled for 25 May, and it will be conducted via computer-based mode.
Besides, the exam authority has revised the IAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria. The candidates must have passed Class HSC/12th (or equivalent) in 2022, 2023, or 2024 from a recognized board. Furthermore, the applicants must have appeared in a minimum of three subjects out of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics in their Class 12th exams. The General and OBC candidates will need a minimum aggregate of 60%, while SC/ST/PwD applicants will require at least 55%.
Furthermore, New courses have been added for the IISER academic session 2025-2026. IISER Tirupati has added a 4-year BS course in Economic and Statistical Sciences. In contrast, IISER Bhopal has revamped its offerings by substituting the earlier BS degree in Engineering Sciences with B.Tech courses in Chemical Engineering, Data Science & Engineering, and Electrical & Computer Science Engineering.
Students are invited to read these updates attentively to verify that they qualify for the requirements and know the new courses offered.
Candidates who are interested in getting admission to the IISERs through IAT must be aware of all the important dates. IAT 2025 Registration will begin from 10 March 2025. Whereas, IAT Exam 2025 Registration's last date is 15 April 2025. Registration on time is essential. So check the dates to miss out on the final dates.

According to the IAT Exam Pattern 2025, it will comprise multiple-choice questions in four subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, and each subject has 15 questions. 4FF marks are given for every precise response, and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong response. Unanswered questions do not make any impact on the marks.

IISc Bangalore has announced the cutoff ranks for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025. To be eligible for admission in IISc Bangalore through IAT 2025, candidates are required to satisfy the cutoff.
