IGNOU has released the official notification pertaining extension of the last date for IGNOU January Admission 2021. As per the notified schedule, the last date for both new registration and re-registration has been extended till 31st March 2021. Earlier, registration last date was scheduled for 15th March 2021. Interested applicants who satisfy the minimum eligibility terms can visit the official website of IGNOU to apply online for the desired courses.

As per the latest update, IGNOU has launched a new Postgraduate degree, MAFCS (Master of Arts in Folklore & Culture Studies). Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream are eligible to apply via online mode.

According to the schedule for IGNOU July Admission 2021, the re-registration procedure will begin from April 4th week 2021, and it will end by September last week. To be noted, IGNOU does not conduct an entrance exam to provide admission, but except for few courses like MBA, B.Ed, and B.Sc. Nursing.

Aspirants seeking admission to the B.Sc. Nursing at IGNOU should appear for OPEN-NET 2021 Entrance Exam. IGNOU is going to conduct OPEN-NET 2021 on 11th April 2021. The registration procedure for examination is ongoing. Applicants will be able to apply till 20th March 2021.

IGNOU MBA Admissions will be granted through OPENMAT Score. Any graduate with 55% eligibility can register online by logging into an official web portal. IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 Registration Process is ongoing, and the examination is scheduled to be held on 11th April 2021.

After the conclusion of the application process, IGNOU also offers the applicants an option to make corrections in the IGNOU Application form. In case of any divergence, applicants are required to log in using their registered credentials that will be generated during the IGNOU 2021 Registration Process. Applicants must modify the details within a given time frame. In case of incorrect information filled, the application form will be rejected

IGNOU updates the status of admission after the completion of the registration process. Successfully registered candidates can check their admission status by logging into the official website of IGNOU. Also, the admission authority will send an Email or SMS to the registered mobile number of Applicants to confirm admission/status

How to apply for IGNOU January Admission 2021

  • At first, applicants should log on to the official website of IGNOU (ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in)
  • Click on the link which states, “ Apply online for the Registration Form.”
  • Then, tick the declaration and then click on the link “Proceed for Registration.”
  • Then, enter the details in the registration form and click on submit. After the successful registration, login credentials will be generated.
  • Applicants are required to re login using those credentials to fill the application form.
  • Later, fill up all the necessary details in the form and choose the desired course
  • After filling up, upload the recent passport-sized photo and scanned images of educational documents in a prescribed format.
  • Then, preview the details once and proceed to make the payment of application fees via online mode by using any of the online payment method (Net Banking / Credit / Debit)

Upon successful payment, applicants can proceed to submit the form online. After submission, candidates are required to take the printout of the same for future reference.
