Goa University decided to conduct their sem exams for the undergraduate courses i.e. BA, BSc and BCom programmes for 1st and 2nd year via Digital mode whereas for the final year students, the exam will be conducted in offline mode.
The exams for all the undergraduate courses i.e BA, BSc and BCom programmes for the 1st and 2nd year students will be conducted online where as for the final year students it is offline mode. The varsity will start both modes of exam from January 4, 2021.
The students of Goa University must follow the rules and guidelines set by the authority and will have to submit the scanned images of their answer sheet.
GU Semester exam Highlights
As the exam pattern is online the university will be sharing the exam papers via Google classroom, Moodle, email, whatsapp etc. These portal can be either accessed by smart phones, laptops, tabs etc.. Students who are attending the exam can either type in their answers or write them down and share the scanned images on the university's website. The exams for both online and offline mode will start at 10 AM and the answer scripts of the students should be submitted by 1pm.
Exam format of Goa University Online exam
The question paper given by the university will have 14-18 question which is divided into 2 parts. The first set of the question paper will have 8 questions carrying 2 marks each out of which the student can choose any 5 questions to answer. The second part will have 6-8 question carrying 5 marks each out of which students can choose 4-6 questions to answer.
Note
For the students who have practical's the second set of the paper will be 10 marks questions where students can choose 4 questions to answer.
