GNDU Result 2020: Date Sheet, Semester Undergraduate, Entrance Exam Results

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Result for 2019 May Examination has been released. Candidates who have appeared for exam can check the result online by entering their roll number. The university will provide Final marks in Detailed Mark sheet. Candidates can download  their GNDU result in pdf format. If any students is not satisfies with the allotted marks they can apply for revaluation.

GNDU follows semester-wise academic curriculum i.e Odd and Even semester wise. The Odd semester begins in the month of August and ends up in the month of December, while the even semester starts from January and ends in June. The university will release results of Odd semester in the month of January and even semester result in the month of June.

Along with the Semester results the university also releases the entrance exam results for the admission in UG/ PG/ Doctoral/ Diploma courses under various faculties namely Arts, Science, Management, Industrial Technology, Information Technology, Planning and Architecture, and Environment.

GNDU Result 2020: How to check it?

The university releases result of the semester examination on the website of the university within 35-40 days after the commencement of the examination. Candidates who have appeared for the exam must visit the official website to check the result. Follow the steps below to check the results:

Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website of the university.

Step 2: On the official page candidates will have to click on the “Result” option under the “Examination” tab.

Step 3: Candidates will have to enter their “Roll no.”, the Session, Month of Examination and Course.

Step 4: Candidates will have to click on submit and the result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Once the result is viewed candidates will have to can download it for future reference. 

How to apply for Revaluation?

Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted marks can apply for revaluation within 18 days of result declaration. Candidates will have to pay INR 1200/- per subject and INR 200/- for the form. There is only one form for one or multiple subjects. The university conducts Revaluation for the annual exam, bi-annual exam, semester exam and supplementary exam except the following:?

  • Faculty examinations i.e Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda.
  • Practical and Viva Voce exams.
  • Exams where grading system is used.
  • Exams in which the answer sheets are marked by internal and external examiners.
  • Semester System examination at the University Campus, Amritsar and Regional Campus at Jalandhar and Gurdaspur w.e.f. examination of December, 2009

How to apply for revaluation?

Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website of the university

Step 2: Students will have to click on Apply for Revaluation” under “Examination” tab

Step 3: Students will be redirected to a new page where students will have to enter your “Roll No.”, “Session” and “academic year”.

Step 4: Candidates will have to click on the submit button and re-evaluation form will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Fill the form with all the details and pay the fees for revaluation.

Step 6: After filling the details submit the form.
