CMAT 2021: NTA Issues guidelines for exam

National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting body of CMAT 2021 which has announced its official guidelines and exam day instructions for the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) test scheduled on February 22 and February 27, 2021. According to the NTA guidelines, candidates are prohibited from carrying any kind of electronic gadgets to the examination center. One of the mandatory thing to carry for the exam is their CMAT 2021 admit card without which the candidates will not be allowed inside the exam hall. CMAT 2021 will be conducted via online as computer-based test (CBT) for admission to management courses for the academic session 2021-23.

Some of the mandatory things to carry to the exam hall are:

  • CMAT admit card/ hall ticket along with their duly filled in self-declaration downloaded from the NTA conducting official website
  • A valid photo identity proof (in original)
  • A passport size image that is to be pasted on the attendance sheet
  • PwD certificate which will issued by the competent authority, in case a candidate is claiming relaxation under PwD category
  • A personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
  • Should wear masks and gloves to CMAT exam center
  • A transparent water bottle
  • In case the candidate has any health issues like diabetes, he/she can carry sugar tablets/fruits
  • Prohibited items inside the CMAT exam center
  • Candidates should not carry the following list of items inside the exam center of CMAT 2021 as they will be barred from appearing in CMAT exam if found with any of these items.
  • Shouldn’t wear or carry any type of electronic watch
  • No metallic things or electronic gadgets are allowed inside the exam hall
  • No instrument/geometry box/handbag/purse or any kind of paper or textual material is allowed inside

Important points to note for CMAT exam day                                                

  • Applicants will not be allowed to enter in the exam center after 7:30 AM for the first shift and after 1:30 PM for the second shift
  • Applicants are advised to read the instructions on the CMAT admit card 2021 carefully
  • If there is any problems faced while writing the CMAT exam, candidates are required to notify the invigilator
  • CMAT 2021 is a three hours exam and there is no sectional time limit or any constraint in CMAT 2021. Hence all the applicants can switch between the four sections as per their convenience
