B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria in Telangana

The candidates’ eligibility standards for B.Pharm course admission in Telangana is as follows:

  • The aspiring candidates who wants to take up B.Pharm in Telangana should have passed 10+2 examinations with subject combinations like PCM or PCB group with at least minimum aggregate of 45% (and 40% in the case of students who are from reserved category) marks from any well-known education board or its equivalent and competent to take up TS EAMCET exam.
  • The accepted age of the candidate for B.Pharm course should be 17 years at the time of admission.
  • B.Pharm admission in Telangana is also applicable for students who have secured diploma in pharmacy from any University recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India

 

B.Pharm Application Process in Telangana

The only form that a candidate joining B.Pharm in Karnataka has to apply is TS EAMCET application in order to get admissions in top colleges in Telangana. 

Following are the steps mentioned to sign-up for the application. The application can be filled both online and offline.

Step 1:- Registration:-To fill up the TS EAMCET exam application form, one has to register themselves with Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE)

Step 2:- pay the application fees: Before filling the application form the candidate needs to pay the respective application fees. This may vary depending upon the category of the category such as the OBC and General or any such categories of candidates. The amount varies depending upon the colleges also.  

Step 3:- Upload Photograph/ required documents: The candidate has to upload his/her recent photograph and upload all the other required documents in JPEG/ JPG scanned format. The complete size of the document should not be more than the size of 40KB. The appropriate signature dimension or the left-hand impression should be approximately 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.

Step 4:- Final Confirmation: Finally after all the required and correct information is filled-up the candidate has to confirm and submit the application form successfully, the student has to review all the information before the final submission.

B. Pharm Selection Process in Telangana

For the selection process of candidates for B.Pharm admissions in Telangana will be done through the academic merit scored by the candidates in 10 and 12 boards along with their competence to appear for the TS EAMCET entrance exam. Based on which the candidate’s exam score will be evaluated, and the state Government is also applicable to shortlist the candidates and will further be called for the counseling process. Later, once the documents are rightly verified the seats will be allocated according to preferences and interests of the candidate.

B.Pharm Counseling Process in Telangana

The counseling process for B.Pharm in Telangana is applicable depending upon the TS EAMCET entrance exam ranking scored by the candidate. The selected candidates will then be followed up by the counseling process such as

Step1:- Fee for Counseling: For the candidates to take part in counseling they have to pay a certain amount as counseling fee. The student can pay it through debit card, credit card or by net banking. All the fee details will be uploaded on the TSCHE website by the authorities. After the payment is made the candidate will receive a SMS regarding the payment and counseling confirmation.

Step 2- Verification of Document and other Certificates: Once the counseling confirmation is received by the candidate, counseling dates will be allotted and here authentication of relevant documents and certificates are verified. The officer will be made available at the help desk where the candidates can get their document checked and sign all the necessary forms.

Step 3: - Lock of Choices: After the next announcement is made in the counseling process, the candidate has to lock their preferences of course and colleges so that they are given the first preferences by the counseling committee.

Step 4- Allotment of Seats-: Lastly, the candidates will receive the allotment order by the board according to their desired choice of colleges.

 

 B. Pharm Seat Allotment Process in Telangana

Once the candidate chooses his preferred colleges then the counseling process will further announces the seat allotment procedure. This process is done in 3 rounds to get admissions for B. Pharm course in Telangana.

  • The major part of the seat allotment is done by the candidate by making their choice of colleges.
  • The seat allotment also depends upon the cut off criteria declared by the respective colleges desired by the candidate.
  • If the candidate does not secure seat in the initial round he/she can take part in the second round.
  • If the applicant wishes to improve their seat allocation, he/she can decline his/her allotment and can take part in the further round of admission process.
  • The candidate should get a copy of the letter of seat assigned and report it to the respective college along with the specified date.
