To be eligible for admission to the Evening B.Tech (EEE) at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), prospective students must be employed and hold a diploma in a technical area that corresponds to electrical and electronics engineering (EEE). The college is not involved in admitting students directly. All seats are allotted through the Government of Karnataka via the Common Entrance Test (CET). After qualifying CET, you must take part in the counselling process to secure a seat in the evening engineering program.

In recent years, most of the CSE students got placed in top IT companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Infosys, Cisco, etc. SJCE CSE Average package stood at INR 5-7 LPA. In contrast, the SJCE Highest Package stood at INR 30 LPA.
