Established in 1935, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology Aligarh is a constituent college of Aligarh Muslim University. The College aims to become an institute of scientific knowledge, technical excellence, and research according to national and international standards. Zakir Hussain College admissions are done as per the guidelines specified by the AMU. Students applying for B Tech must sit for an Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam, AMUEEE. The candidate essential to score at least 50% in the relevant undergraduate course for M Tech courses. Selection depends on academic merit. ZHCET has a magneficient campus with lush green trees all around it. ZHCET is famous for its cricket club, which was established in 1878 and is one of the oldest cricket clubs in India.
