Yogi Vemana University College of Engineering, Kadapa was established in 2008. Yogi Vemana University College of Engineering was renamed YSR Engineering College of Yogi Vemana University in 2010.

Y.S.R. Engineering College of Y.V.U is dedicated to developing engineers in established and conventional disciplines in general and in the areas of Computers, Information, and Communication Engineering in particular.
