Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, also known as Kota Open University, was established in 1987 as a pioneering distance learning institution in Rajasthan. The UGC Committee, headed by the late Prof. G. Ram Reddy, observed that "the distance system in Rajasthan is well established and has the potential of growing into a full-fledged Open University," which gave rise to the idea of establishing an open university in the State of Rajasthan.

Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University Admission

Students willing to be admitted to the distance UG Courses must complete the application form on the official website of the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University.
