Savitribai Phule Womens Engineering College

Lokvikas Educational and Charitable Trust started the Savitribai Phule Women’s Engineering College (SPW) in 2008. SPW is situated at Sharnapur and was started to provide transformation socially with the help of dynamic education. SPW is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. SPW offers engineering courses like B.E in Electronics and Telecom Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, and ME in Electronics Engineering.

• The admissions at SPW for BE course are based on the JEE Main score, and for ME course is based on the GATE score.
• The facilities like sports, medical, transport, hostel, cafeteria, auditorium, computer labs, laboratory, and library are present within the SPW campus.
• The students are encouraged in extracurricular activities like NSS, Blood Donation camp, and tree plantation.
• The library has more than 700 CD ROMs, seven newspapers, 13 international journals, 40 national journals, 9434 text and reference books, and seating for more than 160 students.

SPW campus has a 20 room girls’ hostel with accommodation for more than 100 students and a 36 room women’s hostel with a capacity for more than 120 students. CISA is the festival conducted at the SPW campus which includes aptitude, GD, and personal interview.
