Sam College of Engineering & Technology was entranced during the year 2009 under the banner of Sam Group of Institutions in the capital city of Indian state Madhya Pradesh. The institute is functioning under the sponsorship of Shri Guru Har Govind Society with a vision to provide quality education in engineering and technology.

SAMCET enables students to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities by providing a platform for the students to exhibit their skills. Various co-curricular activities like Training on Embedded systems, visit SARNI Thermal Power Plant, and Training on Advance Java are also conducted by the institute to uplift students' knowledge. 

SAMCET is located in a place surrounded by various attractions like Mahadev Paani Waterfalls, People’s Mall, Van Vihar National Park, Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, Kanha Fun City, and many such entertaining places to hang out. 

Placement

The institute's Training Center and Placement Cell offers suitable guidance and probable support to its aspirants to develop as successful entrepreneurs. Placement cells recognize the needs and requirements of the industry and train the students through industry-based curricula as per the industry's expectations. The placement skills offer a soft skill enhancement program to develop the employability skills among the students.

• Placement cell offers professionally-oriented courses and specialized training for the students and endeavors to organize Seminars, Workshops, Guest lectures, and Group Discussion events by industry experts to provide corporate exposure to the aspirants.
• The main objective of the placement cell is to offer appropriate training and guidance to enable the students to face the challenges in the working environment and global challenges.
