Sam College Bhopal offers admission to the B Tech in five major branches. AICTE approves all the courses offered by SAMCET. Check out the Sam College B Tech Specializations along with an intake capacity listed below.

SAMCET B.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria:

The college authority shall determine the eligibility criteria for B Tech admission in SAMCET.

• The candidate who has passed 10+2 education with a minimum of 45% marks or above can apply for admission in BE/B.Tech at Sam College.

• However, a candidate will not be considered for the B Tech course in SAMCET Unless they pass their qualifying examination with the required percentage.
• For B Tech Selection Process at SAMCET, candidates must undertake the Pre-Engineering Test or JEE Main Entrance Exam as the primary step.
• The pre-engg test is a state-level entrance test conducted by Professional Examination Board (VYAPM)
• For B Tech 2^nd year/Lateral Entry at SAMCET, candidates must complete the diploma with a minimum aggregate mark.
• After the declaration of JEE Main Results, candidates must register online for the state level counselling session, which DTE, Madhya Pradesh, will administrate. The allotment of seats will be carried forward through counselling. 
• Candidates willing to secure admission under the Management quota at Sam College must satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements defined by the college.
• For securing management seats in SAMCET, candidates are required to attend college-level counselling. The admissions will be granted based on 10+2 merit, followed by counselling.

SAMCET M.Tech admission

At the PG level, Sam College offers an M.Tech degree in four branches. The course duration is for two years, and the intake is 18 seats per branch.

SAMCET M.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria  :

• For applying to the M.Tech course in SAMCET, the candidate must Pass graduation in BE/ B.Tech with a minimum of 50% or above in the specialized subject.
• M Tech admission at Sam College will be granted based on the student's performance in GATE Entrance Test.
• Interested candidates must appear for the GATE exam to get admission to the M.Tech course.
• In addition, candidates must register themselves based on GATE score, for online counselling, which DTE, Madhya Pradesh, administers.
• The primary seat allocation takes place through online counselling. Thus preference is given for the GATE qualifiers.
• After the counselling, if seats remain vacant in SAMCET, admission will be granted based on UG degree merit.

 SAMCET  MBA Admission

• MBA at SAMCET is available in the general stream. The annual intake for MBA is 60 seats.
• The basic eligibility criteria for applying to MBA is, bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% from a recognized college.
• However, MBA admission at SAM College will be granted for the students who have cleared MP-MET Entrance Test.
• Candidates who have cleared the entrance test with an eligible score have to attend the online counselling conducted by DTE, MP.
• Applicants are required to register for counselling through the DTE, MP online portal. During the option filling round, choose the preference as SAMCET.
• Thereafter, the final seat allotment will be done by considering the preferences as well as the MET score.
• After the seat allotment process, if seats remain unfilled, students can apply for direct admission in SAMCET based on their graduation score. However, the preference is given for MET qualifiers during seat allotment.

SAMCET MCA admission

 SAM College offers admission to an MCA course at the postgraduate level. The annual intake capacity for SAMCET's MCA course is 60.

• Candidates who are interested in securing admission into MCA at Sam College must undertake the state level common entrance test that is MP Pre MCA Entrance Test.
• Candidates will be admitted based on their performance in the entrance test, followed by DTE, MP Counselling.
• To enrol in MCA degree at SAMCET, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in concerned discipline with a minimum of 50% as qualifying eligibility criteria.
• In addition, candidates must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 level.
