S. M. Patel Institute of Commerce

S. M. Patel Institute of Commerce is the former name of Faculty of Commerce established in the year 1999. The institute is a self-financing institute which is NAAC accredited and is recognised by UGC. They have approval from AICTE and is affiliated to Gujarat University. Campus facilities include Computer Lab, Auditorium, Library, Canteen, Medical facility, Playground, Cultural zone and Student counselling. Faculty of commerce has plentiful books related to subjects, recommended books, articles, journals, newspapers and various e-resources.

Their main vision is to be vibrant and innovative centre for education, to provision students with inculcate values, knowledge and skills, identify hidden talents, offer opportunities for students to grasp their full potential further shape them into entrepreneurs, future leaders and above all good human beings for their own well.

• Commerce related subjects like B.Com at UG level and M.Com at PG level are offered in this institute. For B.Com admission in Birla Sun Life Insurance applicants must be 10+2 passed and for M.Com admission applicants need to be B.Com graduated or related degree.
• FOC application form process are done offline mode that is applicants in the college admission section shall get the admission forms.
• The fee structure of Faculty of Commerce is put up such that it is feasible to all the students despite of any background.

From college end financial help is provided for poverty line students, meritorious students and for reserved category students. There are education loans and fee waiver scheme from state govt. so the scholarships from state govt. or central govt. will be offered through fee waiver.

The placement cell at Faculty of Commerce is active in conducting unique placement process and involved in training like pre-placement talks, communication skills, corporate interactions, guest lectures, seminars, industrial tours, work shop labs etc. Reputed companies like TCS, Azure, Vodafone, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Birla Sun Life Insurance visits the campus for recruitment. The institute assures almost 100% placements.
