St. Xaviers College located in Ahmedabad, was inaugurated in the academic year of 1944 with an aim to provide access to excellence in academics, research and service learning to all strata of society and to use the vehicle of higher education to mould men & women for others who will realize the dream of equality and liberty. It is an autonomous institution which is approved by NAAC & UGC and is affiliated with Gujarat University. The college received NAAC accreditation of A++.

• St. Xaviers College Ahmedabad offers under graduate, post graduate and doctoral courses in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Application, Engineering and Vocational Studies.
• Fee Structure of all the courses is quite feasible and the fees can be paid in instalments per annum.
• Total fee structure of B. Sc course is INR 28,705, BA course is INR 20,905, BCA course is INR 94,805, B. Com course is INR 1.8 Lakhs and the M. Sc program at this institution can be completed with the total expenditure of INR 1.4 Lakhs.
• The Institution also provides various types of scholarship, awards and prizes to the meritorious students.  
• Mode of admission process into this college is online and the candidates can apply for admission into various courses through the college official website.
• The minimum eligibility for admission into UG courses is that, candidate must have completed class 12^th in relevant discipline from a reputed board. In case of PG courses candidate must have graduation degree in relevant stream from a recognised university. Final selection for admission is made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance examination.

There are two hostels available at St. Xaviers College Ahmedabad; one college is for Boys and the other is for girls. The hostels are well established with all mandatory facilities and the hostel fee is around INR 10,000 per semester.
