Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology

Sri Balaji Educational and Charitable Public Trust established Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology in 1999. It is commonly known as RGCET Pondicherry. It is one of the foremost engineering institutions in the union territory of Puducherry. The campus is approved by AICTE and is affiliated with Pondicherry University. NAAC has accredited it with an "A" grade. The campus is constructed on 30 acres of land at Kirumambakkam, which is 13km from Pondicherry toward Cuddalore. RGCET is the fourth largest student population engineering college in Pondicherry. Attracting students from other states of India as well abroad.

Since its beginning, the college has been offering a comprehensive spectrum of courses with dedicated faculty members. The college seeks academic excellence in all the courses. To ensure that quality is maintained, the college has implemented an unrivaled quality assurance and academic audit system. Rajiv Gandhi College Pondicherry courses are offered in UG and PG programs.

B Tech is available in six disciplines. The specializations are available in CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Information Technology, and Bio-Medical Engg. In addition, the college offers M Tech at the PG level in two engineering disciplines. In addition, the college offers MCA and MBA. Rajiv Gandhi College fees structure for B Tech is INR 40k per annum. The annual fee for MBA is INR 55k per annum. Admission to the M Tech is INR 20k per year. The fee structure for MCA is INR 50k.

Students must fulfill the eligibility requirements to be considered for Rajiv Gandhi College Pondicherry admission. According to the RGCET admission requirements, candidates for the UG and PG programs are selected based on their presentation in the qualifying examination, followed by CENTAC Counselling. (Centralized admission process). Based on the academic scores, the merit list will be published. Students whose names are enlisted on the merit list can participate in counseling.
