Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) was started in 2006 to provide quality technical education to the students. The university has nearly about 4 B.Arch. Colleges, 129 engineering colleges, 95 MBA colleges, 41 MCA colleges, three management, and 44 M.Tech colleges.

  • The mission is to provide world-class infrastructure to the students for the academic and technical development of society.
  • The students are provided education in various fields like technology, science, management, medical, paramedical, pharmacy, and research-based.

B.Arch.

12th standard with 60% score from a recognized board with mathematics as one of the subjects

B.Tech

10+2 with chemistry, mathematics, and physics knowledge from national/recognized board

MBA

Graduate degree from a recognized university in any stream with 50% score for general and 45% for reserved category

M.Arch.

B.Arch. from national/recognized university with 60% minimum aggregate

M.Tech

B.E/B.Tech or relevant engineering degree with suitable aggregate from a reputed university

MCA

BCA/B.Sc. or equivalent graduate degree with knowledge in computer applications

Placement-

  • The university has a placement record of placing about 60-70% of the students in the previous years.
  • Infosys, Bajaj, Yamaha, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, etc., hire the students every year with a good salary package.
  • The average salary package offered to the students is INR 3-4 LPA and the highest salary offered is INR 20 LPA.

Hostel fee-

  • The university provides ten hostels, 4 for boys, 4 for girls, and 2 for UG students, with well-furnished rooms with all the basic amenities.
  • The mess facility is present within the hostel and provides the students with snacks, soft drinks, meals, breakfast with varieties at a reasonable price.

Cutoff-

  • The candidates interested in joining the B.Tech courses have to clear the entrance exams like JEE Main, RPET, and REAP, which is conducted every year.
  • For M.Tech, the students have to score good marks in the GATE exam, and for MBA, the GMAT, XAT, and CAT exams have to be cleared.

To be eligible for the B-Tech CSE program at Rajasthan Technical University, applicants must have finished their 10+2 board exams in the science stream with PCM as a compulsory subject. As a selection, they must have appeared for entrance exams/ counselling processes like JEE Main/ HSTES/ REAP, respectively.
