PIRENS, which is elaborated to Pravara Institute of Research and Education in Natural and Social Science, was started in 1983. PIRENS is a non-government institute with the vision and mission to develop the rural and plan for a progressing innovative development model for the rural. PIRATES functions as a research center in the rural parts where it acts as a change agent particularly for the weaker society of the rural areas, specifically in agriculture and the management and implementation of various projects.

• PIRENS is indulged into providing education at the master level, namely MBA and MCA. PIRENS admissions to any of the courses like MBA or MCA students have to undergo a centralized admissions process, which is shortly called CAP, which the DTE leads. For PIRENS admissions, students are advised to apply to the affiliated university that SPPU, Pune.
• PIRENS fee structure to be paid initially during the time of admissions is depending upon the fee policies. PIRENS fee can be paid through Demand Draft or can be transferred online. PIRENS infrastructure is well structured with the state of the art facilities like IT infrastructure, including computer labs and technologies, auditorium, medical facilities,s, and sports.

PIRENS hostel facility is mind-blowing, which provides safe and comfortable stay girls of distant places. PIRENS hostel can accommodate 400 girls with all basic amenities. PIRENS hostels also have medical insurance, recreational facilities, washing machines, etc.

PIRENS placement cell handles all the activities related to placements of passing out graduates. PIRENS placement cell provides full support to the students at every phase of recruitment process and also for the companies that visit the college campus for drives.
