Akole Taluka Education Society's Technical Campus MCA Admission

ATESTC provides its students with an MCA program at the Postgraduate level. The course duration lasts for three years. Candidates willing to join for MCA course at ATES's Technical Campus must satisfy the eligibility terms defined by the college.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The Competent Authority (Director, Technical Education-Government of Maharashtra &/or AICTE, New Delhi) shall determine the eligibility criteria for admission to the MCA program.
  • A candidate shall have completed a UG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45 per cent in case of a candidate who is domiciled in Maharashtra and belongs to the reserved categories, i.e. SC, ST, DT, NT, OBC, SBC.)
  • In addition, candidates have to pass the MAH MBA CET Entrance Test administered by the Maharashtra State Director of Technical Education with a nonzero score for that year
  •  However, candidates will not be considered eligible for admission to the MCA program unless they pass their qualifying examination with the required percentage and the Common Entrance Test.

Selection Criteria

  • ATESTC follows the admission guidelines prescribed by DTE, Maharashtra. Henceforth, candidates willing to secure admission in ATESTC for MCA have to apply through CAP. (Centralized admission process)
  • The final seat allotment of the students will be done through the same. Visit the DTE website to fill CAP online application form.
  • Once the registration process concludes, the competent authority will prepare the merit list by compiling the candidate's MAH CET score and UG degree marks.
  • The merit list will be published on DTE's Website.  Each registered student with a valid score in MAH CET will be allotted a merit rank. Such students can proceed with CAP rounds.
  • During option filling entry, candidates have to choose ATESTC as their preference. Then, based on its final seat allotment takes place.
  • After the completion of CAP rounds, in case of seats remains vacant. Then, the college authority will publish the notice regarding the availability of seats.
  • Thus, interested candidates can apply for MCA admission under the Institute level quota at ATES Technical Campus.

Eligibility Requirement

  • Candidates who have been graduated from any recognized university in any stream with an aggregate of 50% or a CGPA equivalent can apply for the MBA program in ATESTC. (45 per cent for reserved categories). Ministry of HRD recognizes equivalent eligible qualifications.
  • Candidates who are appearing for the final year of a bachelor's degree can also apply for admission.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates have to undertake MAH MBA CET Entrance Test and shall have received a nonzero score. Maharashtra Domicile students have to undertake this exam as mandatory,
  • All India Candidature students can apply for admission based on their score obtained in any valid national level aptitude tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or CMAT.
  • However, candidates have to apply through CAP for the seat allotment process. The final allotment of seats will be done through CAP, conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
  • The CAP process concludes online registration, displaying merit lists, option filling rounds, document verification, and final seat allotment.
  • Candidates can even apply under the Institute level quota for MBA at ATESTC. However, in case of seats remain vacant after all the three CAP rounds.

Candidates who wish to secure admission for MCA or BCA through CAP have to visit the DTE, Maharashtra website to apply online. In the Institute level quota, candidates can fill the admission enquiry form available at the college's official website.

  • Visit ATESTC's official website and look for the menu bar.
  • Click on the Menu Bar and look for the Department option.
  • In the Department option, you will find the MBA and the MCA program details.
  • Check their courses and criteria's and by clicking on the read more option.
  • Scroll down the ATESTC department page and look for the admission option.
  • In the admission inquiry form, fill in all the necessary details and then click on Submit.
