National Insurance Academy (NIA) was established in the year 1980 to enhance the skills of professionals by catering management education in the insurance industry and fulfill the growing demands of skilled professionals in Insurance and Risk Management. National Insurance Academy (NIA) was started in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance (Govt. of India) and Insurance Companies, namely, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Oriental Insurance Company, General Insurance Corporation of India, National Insurance Company, New India Assurance Company, and United India Insurance Company. National Insurance Academy (NIA) provides education and training from dedicated and experienced faculties to develop skills and knowledge in young minds in insurance, pension, and allied sectors.
