Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences called as MAIDS was founded in 2003 when it was separated from the Department of Dentistry Maulana Azad and became independent under the NCT Government of Delhi. The main mission of the institute is to maintain the leadership name by providing affordable, accessible and mainly comprehensive oral care services to all the people with main focus on disadvantaged people. MAIDS institute is affiliated to the University of Delhi and it is approved by the DCI (Dental Council of India). The Dental institute has experienced and qualified faculty members and has contributed too many national and international publications. The first dental institute was MAIDS that is accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Healthcare and Hospitals Providers.
