Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, called MAIDS, was founded in 2003 when it was separated from the Department of Dentistry Maulana Azad and became independent under the NCT Government of Delhi. The institute's primary mission is to maintain the leadership name by providing affordable, accessible, and mainly comprehensive oral care services to all the people, focusing on disadvantaged people. MAIDS institute is affiliated with the University of Delhi, and it is approved by the DCI (Dental Council of India). The Dental Institute has experienced and qualified faculty members and has contributed to many national and international publications. The first dental institute was MAIDS that the National Accreditation Authority accredits for Healthcare and Hospitals Providers.

• The MAIDS institute has been ranked No.1 by India Today and the Week in 2019.
• Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences is associated with four hospitals as G.B Pant, Maulana Azad Medical College, Guru Nanak Eye Centre, and Lok Nanak hospital 350 hospital beds in total.
• MAIDS offers BDS and MDS programs. BDS course admission in MAIDS is purely based on the NEET examination, and for the MDS course, it is done through the marks secured in the NEET MDS entrance examination.
• The MAIDS fee structure is reasonable. It is a public institute that serves under Government management; hence, the BDS fee structure per annum will be INR 25K on an average basis for each student. The MDS UG course fee will be approximately INR 45K annum.
