Government Engineering College (GEC), Ajmer is a public technical college established in Ajmer in 1997. It is one of the Engineering colleges in the region of Rajasthan. The College is situated in 300acres of hills surrounded by land near a Jain temple and has a six-path road connecting Jodhpur and Jaipur, just the college opposite. GEC, Ajmer was formed with a dream to improve knowledgeable human power to oblige the country and is run under the Society act by Governing Council.

The College is providing on bachelor's program and three master's programs, namely B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA, and is having its affiliation to Bikaner Technical University also is approved by AICTE. GEC, Ajmer campus has two Buildings known as the new building and the old building.

  • GEC, Ajmer Fees for 4-year B.Tech program is INR 240000/-, 2 years M.Tech program is INR 120000/-, 2 years MBA program is INR 99000/- and three years of MCA program is INR 148000/-
  • GEC, Ajmer admission procedure for B.Tech is through REAP, JEE Main or RPET exams, admission to M.Tech program will be based on merit in qualifying exam though the preference is for GATE exam students. Admission to MBA and MCA program will be based on RMAT and RMCAAT exams, respectively.
  • GEC, Ajmer Application Process will be carried online in the concerned webpages, and the application fee has to be paid either through Online or DD.
  • Uttam Galva did GEC, Ajmer Placement of 10 students studied in EE and ME branch with an average package of 3 LPA. MoEngage selected 16 students from CSE, ME, EIC, IT, ECE branches with a package of 1.8 LPA to 3 LPA. TCS Company selected 22 students with 3 LPA packages.

Government Engineering College, Ajmer B Tech admission is based on the JEE Main rank, followed by REAP Counselling. Candidates are required to register online for REAP. Based on the merit rank, seats will be allotted.

It is the Government Engineering College, where direct admission is impossible. Admissions are strictly offered on the basis of JEE Main Merit rank, followed by REAP Counselling.

This year 2025 i have been alloted to GEC Ajmer computer engineering. So i really needed help should i take it or not , I wanted to know about placements ,infrastructure, college culture and hostel for females. please let me know asap i have report by 24july to College.

Government Engineering College Ajmer has good infrastructure and experienced faculty. In addition, they provide hostel facilities for female students. Hostel fees are approx. INR 1.8 Lakhs per annum, including mess facility. In terms of placement, it is quite moderate. In the previous placement drive, more than 52 recruiters visited the campus. The highest package offered is INR 15 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc.
