If candidate have completed diploma for 3 years and have scored in entrance exam would be eligible to seek Lateral entry admissions for B.Tech 2nd year directly. Based on merit and score of entrance Government Engineering College admissions will be granted. The counselling will be held online and on basis of counselling selection of the candidate takes place also candidates will fill the application form to get processed with the Government Engineering College admissions. One can go ahead with the hostel admission during the admission to college. Course curriculum is impressive and almost all the topics are covered also they use different methods to educate students.

Can I get admission to Government Engineering College Raipur with 72 percentile in JEE Main and 82% in Class 12?

With 72 percentile in JEE Main, securing a seat at GEC Raipur through the JEE route is unlikely, as the closing ranks under Home State Quota are very competitive (within 3,857). However, if you are a Chhattisgarh domicile holder, appearing for CG PET is a significantly better route, with General Category cutoffs ranging from 70.746 to 92.888 marks.

Can I get direct admission for the B-Tech program in GBPGEC?

As GB Pant Engineering College is led by state-government, there are no direct admissions possible. B-tech admissions are strictly based on merit-basis followed by entrance exam scores.
