Government College(GC): Nedumangad was established in 1981.NAAC accredits institute. Institute is affiliated with the UNIVERSITY OF KERALA. The college's vision is to impart value-based quality education that makes the students intellectually fit and socially committed in every realm of life. The institute's mission is to mold students of the institution into well-meaning citizens of the nation through a socially engaged, intellectually inclined, culture-driven, and future-oriented paradigm of learning. To empower the students to contribute significantly to the nation's development through socialist and secular strategies of instruction. The institution shall always strive to stride forward and keep pace with the changing needs and spirit of the times. It shall not lounge on its glorious past. A very significant aspect of this college is that most students belong to the socially and educationally backward classes.
