Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology located in Patiala started B.Tech programs imparted through the distance mode of education in the year 2007 where it was featured to provide campus education system which sensibly combined the ingenuity and adaptability of the distance education mode. Distance education mode applied advance features of multimedia and technologies so that students could adopt the education without any defies. This education is mainly for students who are dedicated, motivated and bound to work because of the family consequences etc. and are unable to fit into the traditional educational schedules.

• Distance Education- Thapar University admission will be done based on the student’s eligibility and it is compulsory for students to have 10+2 for taking admission in B.Tech. Wisdom College of Management admissions will be based on application form and work experience. 
• Distance Education- Thapar University placement will be arranged for final year students in college campus. The database of the every student will be updated every semester in the placement cell.
