Indian Institute Of Space Science & Technology Cutoff

IIST Trivandrum cutoff 2025

IIST, also known as the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, is one of the best institutes in Space Science. It provides B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and a 5-year integrated dual degree in Space Science and Technology. An important factor which plays a role in admitting students to the institute is the cutoff scores. Admissions to the IIST programs are conducted through entrance exams like JEE or GATE.

IIST uses JEE Advanced scores for B.Tech programs in Aerospace Engineering and ECE Avionics. Well, the cutoff varies with the number of candidates appearing for the examination, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of available seats. It is expected that the IIST Trivandrum cutoff 2025 will increase due to competition.

In the context of integrated Dual Degree Programs like B.Tech + M. Sc in Astronomy and Astrophysics, cutoffs are determined by JEE Advanced rank 2025. These courses enrol students who are interested in higher-level research. Hence, the cutoff is higher in such a program.

The requirements for M.Sc in Astronomy and Astrophysics are based on GATE scores. For the year 2025, these cutoff marks will increase due to the competition in specialised education in space technology. IIST cutoff 2025 has its separate cutoffs for all categories, like General, OBS, SC, ST, and EWS. Candidates must compare the latest trends with the previous year's cutoff. It is important for anyone who wants to be in this institution to ensure they are up to date with the various cutoffs needed for 2025.
