Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, abbreviated as MBCET, was started in 2002. MBCET, affiliated with Kerala University, is accredited by the All India Council for Technological Education and NBA. This institution has located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The college aims to be one of the best institutes in providing education in heights. MBCET has spread over 25 acres with handy amenities is accommodated with 2000 plus students and 100 faculties. • M. Tech course offers in Computer Science, Structural engineering, etc. with Rs 3.06 Lakh's total expenditure. Students must have passed their graduation exams to apply here.
• Eligibility criteria for students to apply in MBCET are they should have passed Pre- University exams and degree exams with an average of 55 and 60 percent under a recognized board of education.

Baselios College provides scholarships for economically backward students, bright students, and several government scholarships. Candidates applying for the first time for the scholarship will have to submit their parents' income certificate.

Mar Baselios College Hostel facilities

Mar Baselios College provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls with the Internet, Mess, games, security, and Internet Facility facilities. Mar Baselios hostels have separate blocks for freshers. Mar Aprem Hostel is for men, containing more than 350 boys on room sharing. Women hostels include 250 students, out of which 83 are shared rooms.
