Valia Koonambaikulathamma College of Engineering and Technology (VKCET) was founded in 2009. The college was established to provide quality technical education for eligible pupils. A private institution affiliated with AKTU and approved by AICTE to offer bachelor's degree programs in five specializations. Valia Koonambaikulathamma College offers admission to the B Tech in five branches: Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, with 60 intakes in each specialization

• For admission to the B Tech at VKCET, candidates have to pass in 10+2/HSC with a minimum of 45% marks. Along with that, they shall have studied PCM as the main subjects.
• The selection criteria for the B Tech depends on the student's performance in the state-level entrance exam that is KEAM. Thus, applicants have to score well in KEAM.
