I completed my 12th standard and wanted choose Ayurveda I opted for BAMS in Shri Ayurved Mahavidyalaya. I was the resident of Nagpur since this college of Ayurveda is in our region and I opted to study in this college. I never wanted to join any college without knowing about the institute so I had many things in my head I wanted to know before getting admissions in Shri Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. The things were if this college was government aided? I got to know that it was a government aided and one of the oldest colleges in Maharashtra. How will I get admissions in this college? Actually admissions for Ayurveda will be done as per the NEET score and they will prepare merit list as per the NEET score. They will also consider intermediate marks especially in physics, chemistry and biology. Shri Ayurved Mahavidyalaya fee structure for BAMS was 40,000 rupees approximately.
Shri Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Nagpur offers UG & PG course like BAMS, MS, MD and Ph.D. Admission into which are offered via entrance examinations. I joined this institution to pursue BAMS which was 5 years 6 months duration program, as I got admission through general quota the fees structure was such that I paid INR 40K per annum. Fees structure in case of management quota is also same i.e. 40K per annum. Institution offers scholarship on the basis of merit and talent of students and the students are supposed to apply for scholarship in the beginning of the academic year. Students belonging to economically weaker sections may ask for fee concession.
