Birsa Institute of Technology is located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, shortly called BIT Sindri. BIT Sindri is affiliated with Vinoba Bhave University and approved by AICTE. BIT Sindri offers B.Tech in 10 specializations. Per the norms, the intake of the B.Tech course is 54 seats annually, and the fee structure would also be as per the norms. BIT Sindri B.Tech fee will be together with a tuition fee of Rs. 14,462 and other fees of Rs. 53,900; hence total 1st-year fee will be Rs. 68,362. The fee from the 2nd year onwards would be Rs. 12,387 as tuition fee and Rs. 53,900 as other fees, so it will be Rs. 66,287 p.a. total fee of the B.Tech course to be paid for 4 years.

The Master of Technology (M.Tech) is a PG program of 2 years and is offered in 10 specializations. BIT Sindri's fee structure for the M.Tech will be approximately Rs. 78,000 1st year and Rs. 78,000 paid in the 2nd year. The whole 2 years M.Tech fee structure will be Rs. 1.56 Lac. The annual intake of the M.Tech will be according to the norms prescribed by the state government.

The hostel facility is provided on the BIT Sindri campus. There are unique hostels available for both girls and boys. The whole hostel includes hostel maintenance fees, electricity charges, and mess charges per year. The hostel fee would be approximately Rs. 37,000 per annum.
