Central University of Gujarat

The Central University of Gujarat is a central university established under India's Parliament Act in 2009 named as Central University Act. This university presently has 11 schools with 22 centers offering over 66 programs in different studies. Central University of Gujarat ranking has always been on the top and has secured 60^th ranking among India's universities. NIRF 2016 has given the ranking of 2^nd position among the universities of Gujarat. This university presently imparts two UG programs, 18 post-graduation programs and 12 being doctoral programs.

• CUG, Gandhi Nagar has successfully imparted a plethora of programs at all educational levels in different schools of Language, Cultural Studies, Literature, Chinese, Hindi, etc.
• At CUG, Gandhi Nagar B. A is the bachelor course which is offered in German Studies and Chinese. The total intake of the seats for B. A course in this university is 33 seats.
• Basic eligibility needed for the taking Central University of Gujarat admissions into B. A course will have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, and SC/ST/OBC students will get 5% relaxation in the basic eligibility.
• CUG, Gandhi Nagar offers PG courses such as M.A in 11 specializations such as Economics, Political science, Hindi, Chinese, etc., M.Ed, M.L.I.Sc., and M.Sc. The M.A program's total intake is 33 seats, and for CUG, Gandhi Nagar admission PG program will need a bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.

There is hostel accommodation for both men and women on a first-come, first allotment basis. There are separate hostels for both. The room consists of a bed, study table, attached bathrooms, and separate cupboard for each with a Wi-Fi facility on sharing bias.
