Babasaheb Gawde Institute Of Management Studies Course admission

The MMS Program at MMBGIMS is authorized by AICTE and affiliated with Mumbai University and the Government of Maharashtra. The full-time MMS Program lasts two years and is divided into four semesters. It is offered to applicants with a Bachelor's degree or who have appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor's Degree.

Admission to this program is centralized through the MBA/MMS - CET, held by the standards of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra. Students can specialize in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations. The Institute has a seating capacity of 150 people. 30 seats of the permitted capacity are allocated for the Babasaheb Gawde College Management quota, and admissions are made per government guidelines.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university with at least a 50% aggregate (45 % in case of candidates of SC/ST categories and PWD belonging to Maharashtra State only). For admission to the MMS program, candidates must have a valid Babasaheb Gawde College cutoff score in the MAH CET / CAT / CMAT / MAT / GMAT / ATMA/ XAT examinations. Selected applicants must complete a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round as needed.

The Counseling by CAP would follow the following steps:

• Visit the Maharashtra DTE's official website.
• Create a new account and log in using your email address and password.
• Candidates must then confirm their application at the facilitation centre.
• A preliminary and final merit list will be posted on the organization's official website.
• In the event of a discrepancy, candidates can file a complaint at the facilitation centre during the exhibition of the provisional list.
• Candidates must log in to fill out and complete the online choice form with college and course options.
• CAP is administered in three stages, and after a college is assigned, applicants must report to the assigned Institute to confirm their enrollment.

In the admissions process, 20% of the seats are reserved for the Management quota, and these admissions are given following government guidelines. For the MMS course, 150 seats are available. To ensure that as several students as possible can benefit from the course, 5% of the marks are given to students who belong to SC, ST, DT, NT, OBC, SBC, and Persons with Disabilities from Maharashtra state.

How to apply ?

As mentioned above, the Babasaheb Gawde College application mode is online. The admissions are decided strictly based on the CAP counselling, so the college application comes later. Admission to the CAP counselling program is based on a MAHCET, CAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMA, or XAT score. Once the result is acquired, CAP counsellors at the DTE Maharashtra handle the admission process. The management/NRI quota is used to fill the remaining seats.

Candidates must register with the institution to be considered for admission under the management quota. In addition, a Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be scheduled for the qualified candidate. The ultimate selection will be based on the CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ XAT/ MAH-MBA/MMS- CET result and performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

• It is primarily the responsibility of the applicants to have all relevant documents available before application.
• If you hold a degree from an institution besides Mumbai University, you must present two documentation sets to confirm your degree.
• A final year mark sheet, a graduation certificate, and a transfer document if you have relocated since finishing your degree are required.
• You must also present caste and authenticity certificates if you have one. In addition, if you have a non-creamy layer certificate, you must also submit it.
