BLDEA’s V. P. Dr. P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology (BLDEACET) is one of the very prestigious colleges started in the academic year 1980 in the Northern Part of Karnataka in Jaipur. The College was created to provide programs in the stream of Engineering, Management, Architecture and Computer Application at UG, PG, and Doctoral level with having affiliation to VTU.

  • Students must apply through the KEA website for admissions.
  • Students applying for the Ph.D. program can use it through the Institute website.
  • Students can apply for the M.Tech program through the GATE score. Students with GATE score need not need a KPGCET exam score for admissions.
  • Students applying for the B.Tech program must have a KCET exam score for admissions.
  • Students will also be selected for PG programs admission based on the KPGCET exam score.
  • B.Arch. The program needs a score in the NATA exam.
  • Students for the Ph.D. program will be selected based on Merit in the qualifying exam.
  • According to the norms of Karnataka State Govt. and GOI, the College provides reservation.

BLDEACET B.Tech Admissions:

The students who have 10+2 in Science stream with PCM with 45% marks from the recognized board can apply for any of the seven specializations offered in the B.Tech program for a period of 4 years. The Selection will be based on the KCET exam SCO is followed by counseling conducted by the DTE, Karnataka.

Students who have a COMEDK exam score are also eligible for admission to the B.Tech program.

BLDEACET B.Arch Admissions:

The students who have a valid score in the NATA exam are qualified for the college's B.Arch program. The basic eligibility required is 10+2 in the Science stream with 45% marks from any recognized board with PCM subjects. The Students will be selected based on the NATA exam marks and counseling marks.

BLDEACET MBA & MCA Admissions:

The College is also offering Business Administration and Computer Application programs at the postgraduate level other than just engineering programs. The students must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from any recognized university to apply for the admission process. The students will be selected for the final admission to MBA & MMCA program based on scores obtained in the KPGCET exam followed by the counseling round.
