SCMHRD MBA Admission

The admission process starts with registration. Prospective candidates can apply for the MBA program online. After registering, candidates take the entrance test (SNAP), which is crucial for selection. These tests evaluate different skills like analyzing, math, and language abilities.

Candidates who do well on the entrance tests move on to the next stage. This stage includes a Group Exercise and Personal Interaction. In this phase, we evaluate a candidate's academics, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

SCMHRD MBA eligibility criteria

You must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university to get into the MBA program. It should have at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade. However, if you are from Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, 45% marks will be enough. If you're graduating soon, you can apply. But it would help to get at least 50% marks (for general candidates) or 45% marks (for SC/ST) to be admitted.

The MBA program has 180 seats. These seats are divided into Finance, Marketing, HR, and Operations specializations. A few seats are set aside for certain groups, like 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 3% for Physically Handicapped, and 2 seats each for Kashmiri Migrants in all programs. The International Students Cell of Symbiosis manages admissions for 15% of seats reserved for International Students. It's important to note that the concession in marks for SC/ST candidates does not apply to International Students.

SCMHRD MBA Selection Criteria

The SCMHRD MBA selection process considers a candidate's academic achievements and entrance test scores. Finally, they add the scores in the Group Exercise and Personal Interaction rounds. The final selection is based on a comprehensive evaluation of these factors.

After the selection process, SCMHRD releases a merit list of candidates. After being successful, candidates must complete enrollment formalities, which include paying fees.

SCMHRD Executive MBA Admission

SCMHRD offers an Executive program for working professionals in and around Pune. Symbiosis Executive MBA program is specifically tailored for working professionals who want to progress their managerial skills while continuing their careers. Classes for this program are conducted on weekends, which allows working professionals to balance their work commitments and education. The classes typically run for 8 hours a day during the weekend. The program is offered in Pune, making it convenient for professionals in and around the Pune region.

SCMHRD Executive MBA Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution of national importance with a least of 50% marks (45% marks or an equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes) at the graduation level. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of full-time work experience after graduation in a registered firm, company, industry, educational institution, government agency, or autonomous organization.

Important Guidelines

·         Candidates must participate in a Personal Interaction session and complete the verification of documents (including XII Mark List, Graduation Semester Wise Mark List, Degree Certificate, and Work Experience documents).

·         The results of the applicants will be announced within three working days from the date of the Personal Interaction.

·         Subsequently, selected candidates will receive an offer letter detailing the following steps and formalities to be completed."

SCMHRD Online Admission Process

To apply for the MBA program at SCMHRD, follow these steps:

Step 1: Register for SNAP

• Go to the SNAP official website: http://snaptest.org/
• Register for the SNAP exam and pay Rs. 2250 for each attempt.
• Note that for one attempt, it's Rs. 2250, for two attempts, it's Rs. 4500, and for three attempts, it's Rs. 6750.

Step 2: Choose MBA - SCMHRD

• In the SNAP form, select the option "MBA - SCMHRD" from the list of programs.
• An additional fee of Rs. 1000 must be paid for this selection.

Step 3: Appear for SNAP

• Appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) on any of the three dates they offer.

Admission Process:

• Based on your SNAP score, a list of shortlisted candidates for Group-Exercise & Personal Interaction (GEPI) will be declared on the SCMHRD website.
• Shortlisted candidates must book a slot and participate in the GE PI process.
• SCMHRD will declare the final merit list, and admission will be based on your SNAP, GEPI, and Group Exercise performance.
