A CSE seat at SJEC is the most sought after by the admission through KCET and COMEDK is thus the rank held the top positions. The core CSE intake in 2026 still remains high at 300 seats but this branch gets occupied very quickly in the first few rounds of counseling. Some reviewers say the high cut-off level for CSE students leads to having a peer group of high-achievers, which results in a positive and competitive coding culture in the college. There is a general consensus that the overall change from the entrance exam to the classroom has been very smooth with a great emphasis on having a discipline mindset.

The institution offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses with multiple specializations. I joined this college to pursue a graduate (B.Tech) in Electronics and communication engineering, a four-year program. I completed my graduation with a total expenditure of 2.5 Lakhs. The fee structure for other courses is also feasible. Admissions are based on JEE-Mains entrance exam score. Students must have a valid score in entrance as per the cut-off marks. The minimum eligibility needed to appear for such an entrance exam is that the student must have completed 10+2 with an aggregate of at least 50% with PCM as the compulsory subject.
In Tamil Nadu, if we have to take the MBA admission, we will have to qualify in the TANCET (Tamil Nadu standard entrance test). This was conducted specifically for the PG programs like MBA and MCA, but I opted to study for MB in this college. Students with valid CAT and MAT scores will be allowed for MBA admissions and will also be eligible to fill the application form. It has excellent education, which is on par with the international standards. There were also like 5 to 6 companies that offered us internships, and also the placements were decent as I got placed from the college itself.
