Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE) was started in 1983 in Shegaon, Maharashtra. The College is approved under AICTE, recognized by UGC, accredited to NAAC and NBA, and affiliated with SGBAU, Amravati. The SSGMCE offers Undergraduate courses in BE/B Tech and Post Graduate courses in ME/M Tech and MBA.

• Candidates can get admission through 2 modes, the Centralized admission process (CAP) and institute level, per the DTE guidelines in Maharashtra.
• Admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on the Candidate's marks obtained in the MHT-CET/JEE Main  Entrance Exam and must secure aggregate marks in the 10+2 Examination.
• Admissions for ME/M Tech will be based on the Candidate's marks obtained in the GATE Entrance Exam and must secure aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech.
• Admissions for MBA will be based on the Candidate's score obtained in MAH-MBA or CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT  and graduated with a bachelor’s degree.
• Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam must register through CAP Online Mode.

SSGMCE BE/B Tech Admission Process

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering offers UG Course BE/B Tech in 5 specializations for four years. Eligibility Criteria must be qualified in the 10+2 Exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% Reserved Category). The candidates' selection will be based on the score obtained in the MHT-CET Entrance Exam. Candidates must register through CAP, organized by DTE, and a JEE Valid Score is also acceptable for admission.

Candidates looking to get admission for BE/B Tech Lateral Entry must have completed a Diploma with 45% aggregate marks, and the selection of the Candidates will be based on Merit. Candidates must appear for counselling with the required educational documents. DTE, Maharashtra, will organize it.

SSGMCE ME/M Tech Admission Process

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering offers PG Course ME/M Tech in 4 Specializations for two years. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks in BE/B Tech (45% Reserved Category) from an AICTE-approved institute or any other State Government-approved institute. Candidates should acquire a valid rank in GATE. Qualified Candidates must appear for counselling, which DTE, Maharashtra, will organize.

SSGMCE MBA Admission Process

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering offers an MBA Course for two years. The Total intake for the Course is 60 Seats. Maharashtra candidates should apply through MAH-MBA-CET for admissions, and candidates from another state must apply based on the CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ XAT Entrance Exam. Admissions are made according to CAP. Candidates must be eligible with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a bachelor’s degree.

SSGMCE Application Process

Candidates aspiring for admission to UG/PG Courses must register through CAP DTE Maharashtra and pay the required fees online. Candidates applying for BE/B Tech based on JEE Main application fees are INR 800 for the General Category, INR 600 for the reserved Category, and ME/M Tech Course application fees are INR 1000 for General Category and INR 800 for the reserved Category. Candidates applying for MBA courses based on CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT application fees are INR 1000 for General and INR 800 for the reserved Category.

• The Maharashtra Government offers a full free Scholarship for OBC Candidates who are admitted through CAP with a Good Score in the entrance exam.
• SSGM College of Engineering offers Full Free Studentship for economically backward Candidates who get admission at the institute level.
