MGM College offers programs under B. Tech and M.E course with various specializations for two and four years, respectively. Candidates seeking admission to courses offered by MGM College must follow the rules and regulations laid by DTE, Maharashtra. Application forms for UG and PG courses are provided online, and applicants shall apply if they have eligible marks.

  • B. Tech course at MGMCET is offered with various disciplines to the candidates with at least 50% marks in the 10+2 exam.
  • Admission for B. Tech course at MGMCET, candidates must have cleared JEE Main or MHT CET entrance examinations.
  • The M.E course at MGMCET is offered with various disciplines to students with a minimum of 50% marks in a relevant degree.
  • The MGMCET also offers courses at B. Tech and M.E in the lateral entry for various disciplines to the candidates who have qualifying marks.
  • It is a must for all the candidates to appear in counselling sessions conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. 
  • Candidates applying for lateral entry must have passed Diploma in Engg or B.Sc. with 45% marks from a recognized board.
  • 20% of the seats are reserved at the Institute level, and 80% of the seats will be filled through counselling sessions conducted by DTE.

M.E course at MGMCET is offered with five disciplines for two years to the candidates who are GATE qualified. Admission details for the M.E course at MGMCET are as follows.

  • Applicants seeking admission for the M.E course at MGMCET must have passed in B. Tech / B.E with 50% marks.
  • Admission for M.E course at MGMCET, candidates must appear and clear the GATE entrance examination with eligible marks.
  • The final selection for the M.E program will be through marks scored in academics, GATE and counselling sessions.
  • Candidates applying for M.E lateral entry must have passed B. Tech or B.E degree with 50% marks.

The exam I wrote was JEE mains and through that I took part in the admission process for taking admission in this college. The exam I actually wrote in January Month and then in the June month I went through the admission procedure like counselling and stuff after all that I was in MGM College of Engineering And Technology admission cell for getting more details about the college as well as the course I want to take admission for. They gave me the admission form and prospectus. I also had to pay the registration fee and then finally I was total about the fee structure that I was supposed to be paid at the time of the admission.

Candidates seeking admission to MGM College for the B.Tech Biotechnology program must apply online through the CAP Counselling, administered by the DTE, Maharashtra. In order to qualify for B.Tech admissions in MGM College, you must pass your 12th standard class with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Most importantly, you will have to pass either the MHT-CET or JEE Main entrance exams to be admitted into the college. Then, once you receive your score, you will apply through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP Counselling). You will be allotted a seat for admission based on your merit rank determined by MHT CET or JEE Main.

In order to gain admission into B Tech Biotechnology at MGM College Mumbai, you need to pass the 12th exam in the science stream successfully. In addition, you shall have attempted JEE Main or MHT CET. Admission is offered based on your score in the entrance exam, followed by Maharashtra DTE Counselling. If seats remain vacant even after counselling, you can apply for the Institute-level quota admission. MGMCET MHT CET Cutoff 2025 is expected to be around 62-88 percentile. The JEE Main Cutoff 2025 is expected to be around 346415-1161207.

Can I get Admission in B tech biotechnology integrated course (5 years)

Unfortunately, MGM College does not offer integrated programs. It offers four-year B Tech in specializations like AI & Machine Learning, CSE (Cyber Security), and Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
