The Institute is popularly known as 1983 established by a public trust Rathinavel Subramanian Educational Trust. The primary objective is to generate an academic curriculum to present days needs. The central vision of the Institute is to deliver training and knowledge. RVSPCET has advanced technology teaching with an excellent academic atmosphere. AICTE approves RVSPCET and is affiliated with Anna University. The Institute offers a U.G. program in various specializations to eligible students.

• Admission for U.G. courses at RVSPCET is a merit-based and counselling session conducted by A.U.
• The Institute offers B.E. and B.E. Lateral course with five disciplines to qualifying candidates.
• Candidates who hold 50% marks in 10+2 can apply for the B.E. course offered by RVSPCET.
• Admission for the B.E. course at RVSPCET depends on the TNEA counselling session conducted by the board.
• Admission for 50% of seats is under the Government quota, and the rest of the seats will be under Management.
• Selection for U.G. courses is made final by the Institute after considering Merit and performance in counselling.

RVSPCET BE course Admission 

The Institute of RVSPCET offers a B.E. course in five disciplines for four years. RVSPCET also provides B.E. lateral courses for the students with eligible scores.

• Eligibility for B.E. course at RVSPCET, candidates must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam with PCM as main subjects. 
• Admission for B.E. at RVSPCET is based on Merit and TNEA counselling conducted by A.U.
• Applicants who belong to OBC / SC / ST / BC / OC / MBC/DNC must have scores 40% marks to apply. 
• Eligibility for B.E. lateral course at RVSPCET, students must have passed diploma or B.Sc degree with Maths as compulsory subjects.
• The General category students must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam to apply.

• Admission for BE and Lateral course at RVSPCET is provided online.
• Applicants should visit the college admission section to apply for courses offered.
• Fill the application form of RVSPCET online with the details required for admission.
• Attach the necessary documents like score sheets, proofs of academics, entrance exam score sheet etc.
• Pay the application form fee of RVSPCET and submit it online to the college.
