The Institute of Prathyusha was founded in the year 2001, Chennai. PEC is approved by AICTE, affiliated to AU and graded A by NAAC. • PEC offers BE course in five specializations for four years.
• Eligibility for BE course at PEC, candidates must have passed the 12th examination with 50% marks.
• Admission for BE course at PEC is based on marks scored in JEE Main and TNEA counselling process.
• Applicants are provided seat based on marks scored in the JEE exam and counselling conducted by Anna University.
• The Institute of PEC offers a B. Tech course in three disciplines for four years. 
• Eligibility for B. Tech course at PEC, students must have cleared 12th board exam with 50% marks. 
• Admission for the B. Tech course at PEC is based on the board's merit and TNEA counselling session. 
• The Institute offers ME course in three disciplines for two years to qualifying students.
• Eligibility for ME course at PEC, students must have passed B. Tech / BE examination with 50% marks.

• The Institute offers an M.Sc course in two specializations for two years. 
• Eligibility for M.Sc course at PEC, students must have passed B.Sc or any other relevant degree with 50% marks. 
• Admission for the M.Sc course at PEC is based on marks scored in the TANCET exam. 
• Admission for UG and PG course at PEC is offered based on TNEA counselling and the TANCET entrance exam.
