Knowledge Institute of Technology (KIOT) was started in the year 2009 located in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The College is approved under AICTE and affiliated with Anna University.KIOT was founded with the vision to impart professional technical education for aspirants. The college offers Undergraduate Course in BE/B Tech and Post Graduate Course in ME/M Tech in several specializations.

• Candidates looking to take admission for UG/PG Course Should apply for TNCA/TNEA Counseling. Seats will be allocated for Government quota through counseling only.
• Admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on the Candidate's marks obtained in the 10+2 Exam, and the candidate's selection will be based on TNEA Counseling.

KIOT offers Under Graduate Course BE/B Tech in 5 Specializations for four years. Candidates must be qualified in the 10+2 Exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM to get eligible for admission. Qualified candidates must appear for TNEA Counseling which Anna University will organize in July.

 Candidates must attend with required educational certificates for the selection process. Based on the marks obtained in the eligible exam Rank list will be prepared by TNEA. Admissions will be granted based on the score. The Total intake for Civil Engineering is 60 and for Mechanical is 240, and for other branches, it is 120.

Candidates who are looking to take admission under Management Quota Can apply the application form for direct access.

Knowledge Institute of Technology ME/M Tech Admission Process

KIOT offers Post Graduate Course ME/M Tech in 4 specializations for two years. Candidates must be qualified in bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech with 50% aggregate marks. Selection of the Candidates will be based on TANCET or GATE Entrance Exam Valid Score priority is given for GATE Candidates. Candidates who have secured a valid score in TANCET Exam must appear for TANCA Counseling with required educational documents.

GATE Candidates does not require to appear for TANCET Exam but must register for TANCA Counseling which Anna University will organize in August. The Total Intake is 24 Seats for each specialization.

KIOT allocates Government Quota through State Level Counseling which Anna University will organize.UG Course, BE/B Tech Candidates, get admitted through TNEA Counseling, and ME/M Tech Candidates get realize through TANCA Counseling. The KIOT also accepts the application form for Management Seats. • Candidates applying for BE/B Tech & ME/M Tech under Government Quota must visit the official site Anna University and register their names Online.
• The Application form must be filled up correctly and must attach mandatory educational details and pay the required fees through Demand Draft in favor of Anna University.
• Candidates should send an application form copy with the required documents through Post to the Director of Admission, Anna University.
• Anna University Declare the Merit List after the Application End Date. Candidates whose names are declared in Merit List Must download the Counseling letter by visiting the official website. The Counseling fee is INR 5000.
