Karpagam Institute of Technology Admission

Karpagam Institute of Technology is a private college established in 2007. The college campus locates in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu State. KIT offers BE/B Tech at the UG level. AICTE approves the B Tech streams offered by KIT. The college is affiliated with Anna University. Whereas, KIT admission process takes place according to the guidelines of the University. Applicants who are willing to apply for admission at KIT must ensure the eligibility norms defined by the respective college.

• KIT offers BE/B Tech admission in six disciplines. They are CSE, Mechanical, EEE, ECE, IT and Artificial Intelligence. The annual intake for BE / B Tech is 60 seats.
• B Tech admission in Karpagam Institute is based on 10+2 merit followed by TNEA Rank. And, the final seat allocation takes place through TNEA Counselling.
•  In addition, candidates shall have cleared the 12^th board exam with 50% average marks in PCM subjects.
• Whereas, SC / ST Category can obtain a minimum of 45% marks at the 12^th level. They have 5% of relaxation in aggregate marks.
• Firstly, 12^th qualified students have to apply for TNEA. The application process for TNEA is online. Applicants have to visit Anna University to fill-up the form. The application fees for TNEA cost nearly INR 500.
• After the TNEA application process concludes, University will release the TNEA rank list on its official website
• Students whose names mentioned in the TNEA rank or merit list can participate in TNEA Counselling.
• During the counselling process, students must choose their preference of colleges and courses. If students TNEA rank is equivalent to the KIT Coimbatore TNEA Cut off standards, then they can secure admission.
