GECG  is accredited by the AICTE and UGC, New Delhi. In addition, it is affiliated with JNTU, Kakinada. GECG offers undergraduate degree B Tech main branches. Candidates aspiring to secure admission to the B Tech at GEC must meet the cut-off criteria & eligibility criteria prescribed by the college.

GECG offers its aspirants an undergraduate level  B. Tech program six branches. The  eligibility criteria for admission to the B. Tech courses at GECG is a qualification in 10+2 or equivalent exam.

• Candidates must have secured a valid rank in the AP EAMCET as equivalent to the college's cut-off criteria that is Guntur Engineering College AP EAMCET Cut off the rank
• In addition, candidates must have passed 10+2 with a least of 45% marks in PCM subjects.
• After qualifying in the EAMCET, Students must attend the AP EAMCET Counselling sessions. Through the counselling sessions, seat allocation takes place.

• Visit the GEC's institute webpage, Open the Menu tab
• Click on the registeration link. Select your course.
• Fill in the registration form with all the necessary details accordingly and accurately.
• Then preview it and click on Submit.
• After screeing the registration form, the admission authority will contact you for further procedures if you are eligible enough.
