Gujarat National Law University, located in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, was bought into existence in 2003. All the institution's programs are under the approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC), and admission is strictly based on the entrance cut-off for both UG and PG programs. Gujarat National Law University was approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is affiliated with AICTE. The university is ranked 7 by NIRF and is accredited A grade by NAAC.

  • Gujarat National Law University offers five years duration of integrated programs like BA. LLB (Hons); B. Com + LLB (Hons); B. Sc + LLB and BBA. LLB (Hons).
  • For admission into any of the integrated programs, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The final selection into these integrated courses is based on the candidate's score in the CLAT entrance examination.
  • CLAT cut off marks for BA. LLB course under the general category is 147-417.
  • Gujarat National Law University offers a one-year LLM duration and two years duration of the MBA program at a post-graduate level. For admission, a candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Total intake into the LLM program is ten students per annum in each specialization, and 30 students per annum are the total intake in the MBA program.
  • Admission to the LLM course is strictly made based on the CLAT merit list, and hence the candidate must appear for the CLAT entrance exam.
  • Admission into the MBA course is strictly made based on the CAT entrance exam.
  • Gujarat National Law University also offers Ph. D in Law, which is a 2-5 years duration program. For admission into Ph. D course, it is mandatory that, candidate must have passed the LLM program from a recognized board with an aggregate of 55% marks.
  • Final selection for Ph. D admission is based on the candidate’s score in the entrance examination conducted by GNLU. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/ JRF/ M. Phil are exempted from the GNLU entrance test.
  • For admission into any of the programs available at Gujarat National Law University, Candidates can fill the application form online through the college's official website. The application fee can also be paid online.

I would like to say it is one of the best university for pursuing law studies currently am pursuing BALLB course 3rd year. Gujarat National Law University admissions will be usually granted on the basis of CLAT entrance exam score and the examination mode is online and the CLAT application fee charges approximate INR 4000

CLAT cut-off for BA LLB is 147-417 in general, students aspired to take BA LLB admissions at Gujarat National Law University need to have scored within the cut-off will be able to take seats for the course.


I have given clat and got sc rank 328 , now I'm unable to pay BA LLB University fee in that less time.

Candidates willing to take BA LLB admission in Gujarat National Law University and not able to make the fee payment can pay the course fee in instalment that is academic yearly basis or semester basis too. If candidate choose to pay the fee per academic yearly basis it would be approx. INR 1.86 lakhs and it can also be divided into half and settled semester basis. Up on this there are scholarships offered for those merit, category based and other related scholarships. For further fee deduction one can visit or contact the college admission office.
