DIT BTECH Admissions

Entrance Exam: JEE Mains

The category of the Exam: Under Graduate Program

Admission Procedure: JEE Main score followed by online counseling by HSTES. For the Lateral Entry program, admission is granted based on the Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test.

DIT BTECH Eligibility criteria

  • The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized.
  • Compulsory subjects: Physics & Mathematics
  • Percentage criteria: securing minimum of 50% (For SC/ST/Reserve candidates, it is 45%) marks in required subject combination (2 compulsories) taken together and considering JEE mains marks in the ratio of 60:40.

DIT BTECH Selection Process

  • Passed 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects with 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories.
  • OR direct admission through walk-in on campus or apply online for registration.

M.Tech

DIT MTech Admissions

Entrance Exam: GATE

The category of the Exam: Post Graduate Program

Admission Procedure: Admissions are made through GATE ranking through the Haryana State counseling board

DIT MTECH Eligibility criteria

  • Candidate must have cleared min of 3 years Bachelor degree course from any recognized University.
  • Percentage criteria: B.E./ B.Tech or its equivalent in Instrumentation/ Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electronics and Communication, Electrical & Instrumentation & Control Engineering with at least 55% marks in aggregate OR M.Sc Electronic Sc./ Electronics/ Physics with specialization in Electronics or Instrumentation with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
  • Should have a valid score in GATE score.

DIT MTECH Selection Process

  • For the MTECH program, the DIT selection process will be on the valid score obtained in the GATE score.
  • Candidates should meet the institute’s eligibility criterion, which is mentioned for the MTECH program.
